Goal of this thesis is to analyze the Language Server Protocol. The history and motivation for developing Language Server Protocol as well as the technical details themselves are presented. The miniC programming language is described. A language server for the miniC programming language is implemented. The integration of language servers with Vim and Atom text editors is presented.
