MODELING AND NUMERICAL SIMULATION OF WOODEN BIOMASS PYROLYSIS PROCESS – MICROPARTICLE MODEL

The aim of this paper is to offer a mathematical model for chemical reaction of wooden biomass pyrolysis, to provide it in numerical form and conduct a numerical simulation in „MATLAB“ software. The results of numerical simulation are then compared with relevant experimental data available in the literature. Results’ comparison is given for three wooden bimass types: oak, cherry and beech. Analisys of proposed model applicability to different wooden biomass types and pyrolysis was given in this paper.
