Abstract

In this paper, a part of the modul for steel structure design, which is implemented in the pre-existing software Matrix 3D, is presented. The manner in which certain problems are solved, that are not adequately solved in most of the software used in our country, are presented. These are a clear calculation of the  class of a cross-section and a stability calculation that shows buckling lengths and buckling mode with a clear view of which elements are most involved in buckling using the energy approach.
