The paper presents two key technologies used in the architecture of fifth generation networks, namely: software defined networking (SDN) and virtualization of network functions (NFV). In addition, concrete examples of endangering the security of the service are presented, as well as security mechanisms that will allow the user to access the services without the risk of losing the authenticity, confidentiality, availability of the service and integrity.
