The paper consists of two parts, theoretical-research and practical. In the theoretical research part, the subject of analysis are high energy efficient buildings. Practical part implied performing an assessment of the condition of the elementary school ,,Veljko Petrovićʻʻ in Begeč. Afterwards, an energy efficiency calculation was carried out for existing condition of building. After the proposed energy rehabilitation measures, the calculation of the energy efficiency of the building was done again. Rehabilitation measures in aspect of building durability and aestethic were proposed, as well.
