The paper presents the theoretical foundations in the field of logistics and warehousing as well as the theoretical foundations in the field of lean philosophy and the impact of lean on warehousing, with a special focus on the lean tool 5S. On the example of the organization "Autocentar Margetić", warehousing operations were analyzed through the lean tool 5S, which was the basis for the proposed improvement measures.
