REALIZATION OF SMART TRAP FOR MONITORING NUMBER OF INSECTS IN THE FIELD

Abstract

This paper presents the development of a system for monitoring number of insects in the field (orchard or vineyard). The device is installed in appropriate pheromone traps. Main parts of the device are solar power supply, controller, camera and GSM/GPRS modem. Photos of the sticky plate from trap taken by camera are sent to server where further processing is done.
