PASSIVE HOUSE FOR VACATION IN LABUDOVO OKNO LOCALITY

Abstract

The idea for the project „Passive house“ came from a lookout/ observatory for birds, which are usually located next to water or in water, for a better overview of the environment. The location, which was taken for the purposes of the project, is an ideal place for an observatory due to the large number of birds, as well as fish and game. The concept is based on combining the idea of an observatory with a vacation home and obtaining a facility that would be entirely self-sustaining and passive, due to the location's needs, and which would allow people to spend some time isolated in nature, for the purpose of research or leisure.
