Abstract

The motivation and satisfaction of employees nowadays become the focus of management thinking, because it is employees who represent the main tool of competitive ability and advantages of organizations on the market. Motivating and adequately rewarding employees have become key tasks and functions of human resources management. The purpose of this paper is to determine the importance of rewarding and its impact on employee satisfaction, as one of the aspects of work motivation. To determine employee satisfaction, a questionnaire was used based on the assessment of employee satisfaction in areas such as material and non-material incentives (benefits) and working conditions.
