CALCULATION OF 70+100+70M STEEL BOX BRIDGE AND COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF VERTICAL TRAFFIC LOAD

As part of this work, the static and dynamic calculation of the bridge spanning 70+100+70m was performed, as well as the dimensioning of the elements. The bridge is made of steel, quality S355, and consists of elements, road beams with a box cross-section, and the two middle supports are steel gratings made of I-profiles and CHS-profiles. The calculation was performed in AxisVM X6 software, in which line elements were adopted. The load-bearing capacity of the section was checked "manually", including the stability check of the slabs of the box section. That check was compared to a "software" calculation. The bearing capacity and stiffness of the connections were also checked and compared with IDEA StatICA "software". Workshop drawings and assemblies made in Advance Steel software are also shown.
