Abstract

Transport infrastructure is one of the key parts of a country's social and economic prosperity. In order to improve the infrastructure, many new technologies are used, among which the BIM methodology stands out. This work is precisely based on the analysis of the application of BIM methodology in the construction of infrastructure facilities. The paper explains the basic terms related to the BIM methodology in general, and then on the basis of road construction in more detail, citing examples of the application of BIM in the world.
