SAFETY AND HEALTH ASPECTS IN A CONCRETE FACTORY

Abstract

The results of monitoring microclimatic conditions, lighting, and noise in a concrete factory are presented in this paper. The technological procedure in the concrete factory, as well as a description of one cycle of concrete production, are also presented. The relationship between concrete and cement and the impact on the environment and people is shown. Risk assessment identification of dangers and hazards at the workplace and in the working environment determined that the workplace of a concrete plant operator is a workplace with increased risk, and corrective measures that employees should take to avoid injury at work were determined in this paper.
