Abstract

In this work theoretical- methodological funda­mentals of insurance with a special emphasis on life and non - life insurance are presented, as well as basic insuran­ce segments and basic insurance concepts. An analysis of the life and non-life insurance market in the Republic of Serbia in the period 2014 - 2018 is presented and a comparative analysis is provided for the observed period.
