OPTIMIZATION OF CONSOLE BRACKET USING TOPOLOGY OPTIMIZATION METHOD

Abstract

In this master's thesis, topology optimization was successfully applied to an aluminum cantilever beam with the aim of reducing its mass, and the optimization was conducted using SolidWorks software. The optimization process resulted in a significant reduction in the mass of the structure, with minimal compromise to its mechanical properties, such as strength and stiffness.
