Abstract

E-commerce warehouses represent modern solutions for storing fast-moving consumer goods ordered through online platforms. These warehouses require state-of-the-art technology and high automation to ensure speedy delivery. Technologies such as Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) play a crucial role in optimizing processes. Automation accelerates order processing and minimizes human errors, which is especially important in high-volume delivery conditions. One of the key processes in warehouses that has the greatest impact on system efficiency is the order-picking process. For this reason, the application of new technologies to this process can significantly contribute to the improvement of service and customer satisfaction, allowing companies to quickly respond to changes in the market.
