Abstract

The topic of the paper is the analysis of water hammer in three separate pipeline systems, two pressurized sewage systems, and one gravity water supply system. A description of the system and their components was provided, based on which a model was created in the AFT Impulse software. A simulation and analysis of the water hammer in the systems were conducted. Based on the obtained results, appropriate system protection was selected for different variant scenarios.
