Color reproduction is an important factor in the graphic industry and can depend on a wide range of influential parameters, such as the printing substrate, machine, printing technique, ink, etc. The goal is to ensure that the printed outputs meet the requirements of both standards and clients, and that the difference in color reproduction is as minimal as possible — ideally imperceptible to the human eye. This paper focuses on examining the accuracy of pastel tone reproduction in eco-solvent and inkjet printing on various substrates, which pose a particular challenge when it comes to color reproduction.
