TRANSFORMATION OF INLAND TERMINALS IN LOGISTICS CENTERS

This paper on based theoretical knowledge present the conceptual framework of inland terminals. First it explains, how the global trends had led to the development of the inland terminal concept, after which the dimensional and functional aspects within supply chain are presented.
