Abstract

This paper describes the model of a power distribution system with a large number of modern energy resources. Тypes of existing energy resources, as well as their models in short-circuit calculations are presented. The emphasis of this paper is on energy resource models connected to the network by energy electronic devices. Improved backward/forward sweep algorithm is introduced in order to incorporate these models into calculations of the fault mode of distribution networks.
