Abstract

This master thesis describes the problem of optimal siting and sizing of Distribution Generators and Capacitor Banks on radial distribution network. This paper also discusses the usage of Multi-Objective Particle Swarm Optimization (MOPSO) algorithm to solve the proposed problem. Additionally, one simulation shows the problem solution on IEEE-33 standard system.
