Abstract

Systematic approach for performance analysis of efficiency controller in induction motor electric vehicle drive is given. Important aspect of this algorithm including IM modelling with incorporated iron losses, loss model controller – LMC and search controller are theoretically analysed. Extensive simulations on IM model including iron losses are performed to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed efficiency algorithm. Verification is given through presentation of results which demonstrate the the optimal trajectories over all operating drive range.
