Abstract

The subject of this paper is a description of the system for merging databases of the library information system BISIS. The first part of the paper describes the library information system BISIS and UNIMARC format. The system specification, implementation and operation of the system are described below. Two operating modes of the system are described: full and incremental. At the end of the paper, the obtained results and system execution performance are described.
