REVITALIZATION OF THE AUSTRO-HUNGARIAN BARRIER FORTIFICATION ZELJANO IN TIVAT

The aim of the paper is the research, study and analysis of the Austro-Hungarian barrier fortification Zeljano in Tivat, as well as the definition of its new tourist purpose through the process of revitalization. The methods applied to this research are a historical analysis of the time context in which the building was built and its original architectural details, followed by a comparative analysis of the past and present condition of the building, as well as defining its new purpose and functional analysis of all necessary content units needed for its quality functioning. The final method is a synthesis that encompasses all aspects of the work and reaching a final conclusion through an adequate conceptual solution for the revitalization of the Austro-Hungarian barrier fortification Zeljano.
