REALISTIC REPRESENTATION OF WOVEN FABRICS

This paper analyzes yhe problem of creating woven structures for the needs of architectural visualization of modern interiors, where traditionally woven fabrics often appear as an additional element that complements the scene. The research includes various methods for creating geometry, potential solutions, as well as the disadvantages of each method separately, in order to obtain a realistic representation of woven structure by applying tools in 3D modeling program – Blender, with a rational ratio between the time spent and the visual quality of the final result.
