CREATING 3D MODELS AND THEIR APPLICATION IN FOREST AREAS

The paper describes the concepts of formation, analysis and application of 3D models in forestry. Various spatial data collection technologies such as Lidar and satellite platforms are considered, as well as data processing methods for further use in creating a plan for additional afforestation of space.
