Abstract

Bisphenol A (BPA) is a high production volume chemical widely used in manufacturing polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins. It has become ubiquitous in the environment as a result of the large production and consumption of products containing this substance. One of the potential sources is landill leachate, which ensures the migration of Bisphenol A to surface and groundwater flows. As part of the study, the presence of Bisphenol A in leachate at the unsanitary controlled landfill in Novi Sad was investigated. The samples were analyzed on an HPLC system, and the results were compared with the results of other studies on the content of Bisphenol A in leachate.
