Abstract

The paper describes the importance of using sensors in measuring devices through the example of precision viticulture. Also, a model implemented on the Raspberry Pi platform with the aim of providing data measurements from the vineyard is described. The values of temperature and air humidity, soil humidity and preci­pitation were measured. The system is implemented within the Python programming environment. DHT11 is a sensor for measuring air parameters, HW-080 sensor is in charge of reading soil moisture, while FC-37 is a rain sensor.
