Abstract

Within this master's thesis, the theoretical back­ground in the field of ERP systems are introduced, as well as practical design techniques in the domain of conceptual design development for a finance and accounting module as an integral part of an ERP system. Through an extensive analysis of user needs, peculiarities of accounting pro­cesses, the legislative framework, and current regulations in this sector, a module is presented that optimizes and inte­grates pivotal financial operations. Particular emphasis is placed on the user interface, aiming for simplicity, intuiti­veness, and efficiency. The outcome is an innovative ERP module that helps organizations in enhancing both their financial operations and overall business practices.
