OPTIMIZATION CONCEPT OF RETRIEVING AND DISPLAYING LARGE AMOUNTS OF DATA IN WEB APPLICATIONS
Abstract
The paper explores optimizing data display within the PICO Portal software, a platform for accessing scientific papers. It focuses on challenges in handling large datasets and efficient solutions like server-side pagination, indexing, and caching. The paper presents issues in the original code, solutions, and their effects on system performance and user experience.
