LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT FOR EFFECTIVE TEAMWORK IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS

The main goal of this paper is to present the characteristics of modern models of educational leadership that influence the formation of effective teams in schools, primarily those that exist in school practice. The first part of the paper refers to the review of theoretical considerations and results of empirical research on pedagogical, transformational and distributed leadership in the school environment, as well as consideration of teams in schools. The second part of the paper is devoted to the analysis of the survey, which included 40 respondents. This paper analyzes leadership development for effective teamwork in elementary schools. The results of the research represent the basis for a better understanding and greater commitment to the development of leaders and the very relationship between leaders and teams in schools and increasing the responsibility of all employees with the aim of the success of schools and the progress of the entire society.
