In the paper a short description of the work of three regional units is given: Zvornik, Bileća and Mrkonjić Grad. The accent was placed on the Regional unit in Zvornik. The analyses of the state of the cadastre is described as well as the maintenance of it. Regional units in RS are striving to estrablish a cadastre of real estate, as double records are still being conducted. The primary goal of the research is to determinethe quality of old diametar and it's usabillity in modern conditions.
