Abstract

Technological advancemens have been signifiacntly influenced developmenet of pprinting technologies from the beginning of printing. Beside image quality, stability and colour reproduction are also better today, then before.

In this paper the effects of short-term repeatability on colour reproduction in the electrophotography and ink-jet printing have been investigated. The colour difference values were predefined by changing the lightness value. The chromatic coordinates a and b remained unchanged. Test samples were printed three times, at the beginning, then after one hour and 24 hours later. Spectrophotometer was used for the measure test samples, while colour differences were calculated by ΔE00 equation.
