STRATEGIC TRANSPORT MODEL FOR THE CITY OF BANJA LUKA

Abstract

The first part of the paper presents the socio – demograpic situation in the city and theoretical basis of four step model, for a better understanding of model concept in traffic engineering. The second part of this paper outline the Strategic Transport Model for the city of Banja Luka upon which it was determined Desire lines based on Graviy formula. The output model results is а daily volume of entire network.
