Abstract

This paper researches the influence of current unbalance and different phase shifts of currents on the distribution of the magnetic field around three-phase „U” shaped busbars with neutral conductor. The effect of busbar shielding on the magnetic field distribution is also investigated. The calculation was performed in COMSOL MULTIPHYSICS software program package based on the Finite Element Method. The results of calculation are presented graphically, as the magnetic flux density distribution over the system’s cross-section and as the most common diagrams.
