Abstract

This paper presents solution that has an important role in improving network reliability and increasing quality and continuity of power supply to customers – FLISR (Fault Location, Isolation and Supply Restoration). FLISR provides fast fault location, isolation and supply restoration for „healthy“ part of network. Thus, the research on FLISR solutions is coming at the forefront of interest in power systems. The main focus of the paper is on the comparative analysis of FLISR solutions in different architectures, centralized and decentralized.
