SECURITY – CONSTRAINED OPTIMAL POWER FLOW

The paper discusses the Security – Constrained Optimal Power Flow (SCOPF) problem. The problem is theoretically and mathematically desribed. The method and algorithm for solving the SCOPF problem are also described. The algorithm is verified using a 34-bus test system.
