Abstract

The introduction presents the history of the PLC (Chapter 1). The main part of the paper explains the principle of operation of the PLC (Chapter 2), the appli­cation of the PLC (Chapter 3), the measurement charac­teristics of the PLC (Chapter 4), programming of the PLC (Chapter 5), and the advantages and limitations (Chapter 6). Finally, concluding considerations of the paper and a list of used literature (Chapter 7 and 8) are given.
