Abstract

Lake Palić with it`s surroundig is a famous tourist destination in a natural environment with characteristic buildings of Art Nouveau architecture. The main idea of the project is to create a space for preserving physical and spiritual health, where there is a natural context as an external and user comfort as an internal determinant of creation. Specifically, the analysis of the heritage together with potential of the building site resulted in the contemporary wellness & spa center, which points out universal and evergreen qualities of the architecture behind it. The building keeps the tradition by living up to the standards of today.
