Abstract

In this paper modelling within IEC 61850 protcol and GOOSE communication as special part of this protocol is presented. Except modelling, GOOSE communication between protective devices – relays is shown. One application, related to blocking of protection functions, of GOOSE communication is desribed and tested. In this way, functionallity of GOOSE communication and its advantages are proven.
