Abstract

Slider–crank mechanism is vital segment of every reciprocating IC engine. It is also most loaded and most important assembly. Because of that, it is useful to determine load and deformation of its components. In this paper can be found load analysis and optimisation of а diesel engine piston with use of finite element method.
