The complexity of the sociological and political situation in the country conditioned the creation of a new current of memorial architecture. The differences that prevailed could be overcome only by universal language, which penetrated deeper into the past of our peoples. It is a language of the proto-Balkan period, ancient and almost forgotten. The memorials that emerged from this current are characteriyed by the timelesness and uniqueness of expression, typical of Bogdan Bogdanovic’s work.
