Abstract

The subject of this paper is the automated design of the belt conveyor with supporting structure of aluminum profiles. First, theoretical basis about the belt conveyor was given. The most important elements of the conveyor were described and analyzed. The overview of existing solutions was also given. After, a detailed calculation of the conveyor construction was given and the calculation of the required drive power was presented. At the end it was described how the 3D design process was conducted.
