Abstract

In this paper voltage sags during fault simulation at different distances are considered. We compare the simulation results with the results of real measurements. The goal is to make the simulation results at approximately the same distance from the fault location as in the real system as different as possible from the measurements in the real system. The considerations were performed on the basis of real measurements with the microprocessor protection device SIPROTEC 47SA611, while the simulation results were obtained on the basis of the transmission line model modeled in the MATLAB software package.
