Abstract

The aim of this paper is to emphasize the importance and impact of programs and projects of local economic development on the development of the local communities. The theoretical part of the paper defines the basic principles and elements of local economic development and the factors that affect it. In the research part of the paper, three different projects are presented and their impact on local economic development in the given area is examined.
