ARCHITECTURAL AND URBAN STUDY OF TRANSFORMATION AND CONNECTION OF THE CHANNEL DANUBE-TISA-DANUBE WITH AREA KLISA IN NOVI SAD

Abstract

Research and development of a study on possible transformations on the banks of the Danube-Tisa-Danube Channel has resulted in the best strategy to help revive this coastal area as well as the Klisа area. One of the objectives of this research is to define the significance of the river as an essential natural element in the urban environment and consideration of the factors that influenced the emergence of cities along the river and their development depending on the specificity of the local environment. In addition, it is important to come to conclusion as to which activities should taking place on the coastline and whether it affects the change a population of the same and that the methodology for the promotion and development of the coastal area parts. This shows the importance of the coast itself as an active urban public space that leads to the revitalization of space and socialization of people, as well as to the creation of an authentic visual identity.
