This paper presents the possibilities of application of the software package CECS 2.0 - Civil Engineering CAD Solution during the analysis and design of the main project for the improvement of the dangerous place of the intersection of state roads IB order no. 20, IIA order no. 123 and the municipal road Sremska Mitrovica - Veliki Radinci near the toll station on the A3 highway. The process of designing the improvement of the dangerous place of the intersection of state roads is described, which, among other things, includes the formation of DMT digital terrain model (DTM), extraction of the road axis and road edges (tracing), drawing the longitudinal profile and road level, drawing cross sections on the longitudinal profile, formation of the road model, formation of the leveling plan.
