For the needs of the proposed master thesis, a research has been conducted, from which all the problematcs, trends and tendencies of architectural revitalization and adaptive reuse of obsolete and abandoned buildings can be easily observed. Among those types of buildings stands the building of Radnički Univerzitet in Novi Sad, which presents the main object of this thesis. The main idea is to get to know the ways and means through which these buildings can get a new life through a mix of new functions which would meet the contemporary demands from its end users, and through which they would not only fit in their existing surroundings, but advance them as well.
