This paper discusses the impact of renewable energy sources on the IEEE 13-bus test network. The network has been modified by connecting a distributed generator - a wind power plant. The aim of this paper is to determine the influence of the connected distributed generator on short-circuit voltages and the network itself. The modeling was done in the DIgSILENT Power Factory software package.
