NONLINEAR STATIC ANALYSIS OF A MASONRY BUILDING DESIGNED ACCORDING TO EUROCODE

The seismic response of a masonry building designed according to Eurocode was assessed by conducting a pushover analysis on a spatial model formed from equivalent frames. The behavior of the structure was monitored during the gradual application of seismic forces and the fulfillment of the chosen seismic requirements was checked according to the provisions of Eurocode with the application of "AmQuake" software. The values of behavior factor q were examined, in terms of comparing the obtained values with the ones provided in the code.
