Abstract

The variation of print quality over the time is inevitable. Since we can not influence the changes themselves it is necessery with the help of measuring instruments and analysis, to come to a conclusion which changes are most massive and are endangering the quality of the print in order to minimize them. In the given analysis, the tests were done on the materials that have weight of 80 g/m2, 120 g/m2 and 300 g /m2. Each of these materials are after the first print, printed again after 1 hour and then after 24 hours. Comparing the results of optical density measurements, increase in tonal values, relative spectral reflections, and analyzes of printed lines and points, it is possible to see how much quality during printing, on the Epson SureColor T7200 graphics system, deviates from the original values.
